Improve Your Game

You can get better

The best way to create a great base for improvement is to make 100 practice swings with an iron every day.”

– Hank Haney

Hank Haney seems to know a thing or two about great golf. While under Haney’s guidance, Tiger Woods won 6 (!) majors. Now, I am sure that I could have coached Tiger Woods in his prime to several wins myself, but the point remains – Hank Haney can coach them up with the best of them.

Haney’s point with the 100 swings a day idea is that by swinging a club that many times each day, the player is hardwiring muscle memory and making for a more repeatable swing. A repeatable swing is one that holds up under pressure, fatigue, or an elevated blood alcohol content and is (from what I’ve read) the first step towards a lower index, beating your buddies, and finishing league nights and tournaments in the money.

“Swing every day” is a bit like “eat vegetables” or “work out daily” or “don’t throw a tantrum when the Bears lose a meaningless football game” as far as well-intentioned, obvious, and totally impractical advice goes, but maybe this one is more attainable.

We’re here for whenever you want to swing. Our bays feature best-in-class data to give you instant feedback, data, and even a replay of what your clubface is doing at impact (avert your eyes if you are squeamish, this can be ugly). Come by, swing, improve, and beat the brakes off your buddies this summer.
